About the work
ATINUM conducted a high-resolution aerial topographic survey of NEOM Trojena Mountain, focusing on the Ski Resort development area. The project utilized drone-based data acquisition combined with RTK-enabled ground control to ensure high positional accuracy. Advanced photogrammetry processing was applied to generate textured 3D models, orthophotos, and elevation datasets, providing reliable geospatial outputs to support engineering design, planning, and project development.
Objective
- To capture accurate topographical and spatial data of the Trojena Mountain terrain using drone and RTK technologies for engineering and development purposes.
Goal
To deliver high-accuracy 2D and 3D geospatial datasets that enable effective planning, design validation, and decision-making for the Ski Resort development.
Outcome
- High-resolution drone-based topographic survey of the project area
- Establishment of 19 Ground Control Points (GCPs), check points, and backup points using Base–Rover RTK method (Base Stations: N-MOUNT-002 and N-MOUNT-024)
- Textured 3D models suitable for engineering and design workflows
- Point cloud data
- Digital Surface Model (DSM)
- Contour maps
- High-accuracy 2D/3D maps, including orthomosaics with 3D textures
- Raw survey data
